Overview
This project is an alternative to the Edgenuity series on "Beginning the Research Process." Grades on this project can be used to substitute those for this section on Edgenuity.
For this project, you will be planning a research paper without writing it. You will choose and refine a topic for your paper, write a thesis statement to argue your opinion on that topic, plan an outline to organize how you support your opinion, and gather credible support.

Because writing is a cycle, after you have completed each step one time, you might revise your thesis and outline based on the type of support you were able to find.
